Could the problem be that everyone is going into the wild card round wishing for a win in our 17th game instead of 21st?
Clearly that is not true of Jim Kelly's Bills or Donovan McNabb's Eagles.
I meant during this stretch we are calling our own dynasty, of sorts. Active streaks and results
Patriots - 7 years - 8 total post-season wins, 2 SB appearances, 1 SB win
Packers - 7 years - 7 total post-season wins, 1 SB appearance, 1 SB win
Broncos - 5 years - 6 total post-season wins, 2 SB appearance, 1 SB win
Bengals - 5 years - 0 wins
Seahawks - 4 years, 8 total post-season wins, 2 SB appearances, 1 SB win
Panthers - 3 years, 3 total post-season wins, 1 SB appearance
Cardinals - 2 years, 1 total post-season win
Steelers - 2 years, 1 total post-season win
Anyways, the Bengals just look implausibly out of place surrounded by the other playoff-streak teams. 33 playoff wins among the streaking teams and not a single one belonging to the Bengals. Hell, even the Chiefs snapped their playoff drought with a single appearance this year. Bah, oh well. Maybe in 2016.
