Somehow Pete pissing away a bunch of his own money via a different addiction - the punishments just seem unbalanced.

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter....the response I got from Selig was laughable.  I'll try to remember to dig it out and post it here when I get home.  More or less " 'cause we say so".
