If Dez has a tibial plateau fracture it is a more serious injury than a bone bruise and will require more time to heal even if they claim it is "hairline." Whomever is throwing that bone bruise bullshit out there is trying to pull a Marvin Lewis. They're trying to deliberately mislead people. Or they are misinformed. Possibly both.
The term bone bruise is a misnomer and makes the injury seem less serious than it is. A so-called bone bruise is actually a fracturing of the inner layer of bone.
