Ben was the 11th overall pick and he was taken by a stable franchise with an elite defense during his early years.  Its not exactly amazing that he is good.  

Clearly he is better than Kordell and an XFL QB.  Ben wasn't exactly a hidden gem or a late round steal (not that the Browns thought it wise to take him).
