You are absolutely right, and this is where Mike Brown’s thinking gets muddled. Remember, he was a quarterback himself at Dartmouth. Because of this, he tends to look at that position exclusively and ignores the others. I’ve heard Mike Brown say in many interviews that he thinks quarterback is the most important position on the team — and he’s right — and if you get a good one everything else should automatically fall into place which is wrong.
