Gio is actually an extremely productive and reliable back.  If you look at his career production every year he's consistently above average considering the limited snaps he receives.  I think he's worth every penny he is paid.  It just seems the last two years have been his worst because of a lack of offensive line and coaching consistency.

.....

on the whole Mixon thing, everyone will have an opinion on the subject but the question is if he's worth the money and u till what point.  Take a look at Mixon's Stats

https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/3116385/joe-mixon

There are two things I take away from these stats.  First is how underrated he is in the passing game just look at his over 75% completion rate with 3 TD's this year.  The second is how underutilized he is as a player considering his consistency average.  If they just scheme around him more often and work out the Oline issues he could have insane production.

We have him for another year, but I think he can be had at a lower rate if he's signed now, but I am with everyone that if he wants to be among the highest-paid back's your forced to move on.

Totally understand all your points.

I think people are frustrated with Bernard because they feel he should have played more if he was given that extension.
With that said, if Mixon were to hold out, I'd expect he'd have a (much) higher workload like he had his first few years where he averaged around 1000-1200 yards from scrimmage.

As for Billings, I really like Billings. I'd love for him to stay. But I think the Bengals have a bit more leverage due to Tupou also playing well and Wren being drafted just last year. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Bengals do something along the lines of, "Well, this is the offer. Take it or leave it."
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
