I see a cap hit of 8.3 mil for this year. And he is in the conversation because they don’t like the way he has been playing. He may be the Rams version of Bobby Hart. Expect at some point he was actually good.
I take that back. Guess I’m stuck in the past. He sucked in 2019 because of a knee injury. Apparently he bounced back and played well last year after an offseason training at Whits house...
Good in both 2020 and 2018. Havenstein was the 14th rated OT on PFF. Bengals OTs were 44 and 49. He's not quite as young as I thought, but he's not a high expense. I don't consider $8.3 mill very high for a good RT.
With that said, if they are actively trying to move him, they may be willing to take lower than they think he's worth just to get his salary off the books.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
