In light of this transgression, could OU pull the plug on his fight to get his "lost" year of eligibility back? Could he be a late entrant into the 2017 NFL draft? If so, what are his prospects? Does he affect the current QB prospect rankings, trade possibilities of current NFL QBs? Much to consider here.

I have no idea, but i like how he has fun on the football field. Mayfield is fun to watch.
