Kony Ealy

The Patriots just traded their 2nd round pick (#64) to the Panthers for DE Kony Ealy and a 3rd round pick, #72 overall.

People make the worst trades with the Patriots yet others keep doing it.

Heck, I would have traded the Bengals' #41 for Kony Ealy and #72.
Ealy has had consistent, good (not great) sack production. 4.0, 5.0, and 5.0 his first three years in the league.
Would have solved the Bengals need for DE and get an extra early round pick.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

So you're telling me...

They traded their up and coming defensive end that is only 25 and had 5 sacks to move up 8 spots in the 2-3 rd round range?

Wtf... They could've just given up a 6th or 5th.
