***Official 2017 NFL Draft Day Thread***
We need to bring in a proven OL talent evaluator

For a small market team like the Bengals, every one of these picks is valuable.  Taking projects is something we can't really afford to do.  Heck, I would rather use a late pick on getting the best long-snapper - someone we can USE - rather than projects (which, for the Bengals, rarely work out).
CBS gives JJ Dielman O Lineman pick a B-......That isn't bad for round 5......ESPN now really jacking around as end of every draft. I hope they get around to him in detail....I doubt I watch round 6 and 7 due to how ESPN will hardly cover it. ....OK, Kiper not that impressed for ESPN. CBS more impressed.....Even Kiper said his strength is he can play tackle, center so brings versatility as a back-up coming in. With Whitworth and Zeitler gone, this was a MUST PICK, but I wish we would have went O Line much, much earlier on Friday or early today on Saturday......Mike Brown DOES NOT value O Linemen, therefore he does NOT value Blocking, therefore he doesn't not value protecting the franchise quarterback. Mike Brown is kind of stupid and never a play-off win under Mike Brown since Paul Brown died.

I don't think the Cincinnati Bengals Sweep Cleveland Browns next year or any of the AFC North teams.

If you really think every team in the NFL isn't gonna have fans crying about every pick in the draft you would be wrong.

I kind of agree but I also thought the same thing in 2009. So who knows? Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

MIKE BROWN for 27 years does not see why he should have to pay offensive lineman....Mike Brown IS the problem.

They certainly are, no doubt. Especially Cleveland. We'll see how it all plays out.
Well Cleveland just got a guy who knocked out a chick like last week. Let me guess its a great pick ?

To sum up Mel Kiper: "He spent too much time on the ground and lunged too much while in pass pro"

I'm not sold on Cleveland having a great draft.  They are all over the place....

Oh I agree, but this fan-base is the one I'm most comfortable labeling seeing as I am apart of it.

Yeah I bet you ESPN doesn't even notice this pick.

Yeah I know what you mean, but they have so many picks this year and next year that I guess they can afford to... I'm more unsold on Pittsburgh.
I'm sort of glad we didn't trade Cleveland Browns AJ McCarron

Even AJ McCarron is probably glad we didn't trade him to Cleveland.  Cleveland is where quarterbacks go to fail....
