Have to see what transpires in camp and pre-season.  But, yes, Erickson should be worried.  However, for us fans, we WANT our players to be worried about their security.  Competition is GOOD.

Mainly because of Joe Mixon going into a locker room with Adam Jones and Vontaze Burfict, and the character concerns with him. That's basically is all he talked about.

And not liking John Ross for some reason, cause he's small. But whatever.

That's what the Bengals are attached to right now with Mixon, that image. Only way to change that is to do well on and off the field. It won't change over night so expect a lot of talk about things like that for awhile. Both on this board and the media.

I have a "mile high salute" for that guy. It only requires one finger.

This kid from Houston sounds special. I think he takes the role from Peerman. He can play three positions and be used as a kick returner and punt returner he runs a 4.3 40.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

I know I shouldn't care. And quite honestly I wouldn't except for the fact that it's horseshit. I cannot wait for Mixon to be an unstoppable force in this league forcing them to talk about his accomplishments. Cannot wait.

I feel pretty good about the draft so far. We addressed some real needs in a fast receiver, a clutch kicker, pass-rushing DE's, a great challenger for RB, a good value at LB, etc. Everything except the OL was addressed in a significant way.

Yea all of em just sitting there shaking there heads mumbling wrong locker room.

Honestly Davis and the blockheaded dude (I cant think of his name) are clearly pretty ignorant when talking about the Bengals they are just shocked because it doesnt make sense to take a RB when we have greats like Hill.

Might as well take Kaaya if he's still sitting there in the 7th.

Davis would be gushing over the pick if Denver brought him in.

Love the pick. Runnning back that ran a 4.3 and jumps 41 inches. return specialist who is now a converted cb

Speed is important -- and the Bengals are catching on finally.

If ESPN bothered to cover small-market teams, they'd know the Bengals have a pretty drama-free locker room - Pacman Jones excluded. Seriously, I'm still waiting on one of these hot airbags to point out the supposed off-the-field issues that seem to define this football team (again, not named Pacman Jones). This is a tight-knit locker room.

It's easier to make assumptions and buy into your own narrative rather than doing actual investigative reporting, I guess.
Everything in this post is my fault.
