You can keep 2
They will cost you one round higher than you drafted them (capped at a 5th). For instance you drafted someone in the 3rd, you give up a second this year, you drafted in the 6th you give up a 5th, you drafted in the 12th you give up a 5th.
A first costs a 1st
Can we do trades before submitting our keepers?

I don't think we have the draft order yet. Unless we're going by how we finished last season?

You can still trade a draft pick for a player, if someone trades a 3rd for someone its still a 3rd we just wouldnt know exactly where in the 3rd.
Kinda like teams trading for future draft picks a year before in the NFL.

Ahem, we can reach "agreements in principle", as until the keepers are posted, some might be dealing draft picks that they may or may not be able to give.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

That was sorta' what I was getting at. If I keep Zeke, I would have no 1st RD. to trade.

I have yet to receive any updates, reminders, notifications of the upcoming season, or anything of the sort, yet. My guess is that once that happens, everything will bust loose from there.

I've already done about 15 mocks. But it's really difficult since I don't know what players are actually going to be available. So I just pick like I'm starting over. Barkley is listed as the number 1 overall pick, and Mahomes is listed as the best player. Interesting lineup in the early going. I think Mixon is in the top 10.
You know me and mocks! I'm addicted!!

Yeah, too bad I'm likely keeping Mahomes.

Yea I just assumed people would know not to trade picks they need for a keeper and if they did then thats on them. That is as soon as we open back up and get solid confirmation on the rules of course.
On that note anybody on my roster is up for grabs so if interested let me know.

Don't you have Gurley and Conner? I would be interested in working something out. I can only remember a few guys on my roster though.
EDIT: I am also open to trading with anyone I have left. I was going to keep Tyreek, but that's obviously no longer an option.

I know I have Zeke, Rodgers, and Henry. I had Hill, but he's gone, and I can't remember who else I had. I think I have J. Howard who's with Philly now. Might keep him. I wish I could see my roster.

We will not be trading picks and as most seemed surprised we were doing keepers this year I will compromise and lower the number of keepers to one. So you can keep one or none.
If you keep a player you forfeit the pick one round higher from where he was originally drafted. If you picked up someone of FA he costs a 5th and all picks are capped at 5th. I will explain some scenarios:
Urinal took Bell in the first. Say he dropped him last year because he knew he was not going to play and BenZoo picked him up off FA. If Bob picked him up he can keep him for a 1st, not a 5th. Urinal cannot keep him
Nobody drafted Mitch Tribiski after about 4 games Teeth signed him off FA. He could keep him for a 5th.
bfine draft Eric Ebron in the 13th Rd, he wants to keep him it costs a 5th
BenZoo drafted Joe Mixon in the 3rd, he wants to keep him it costs a 2nd
Below is last year's draft results:
