Man down. Core injured
#1
Practice stopped. Looks serious. "Withering in pain". Lower leg injury of some sort. Hate to see it.

Update: Cart is out.

From Hobs:

Core was blocking on a screen and got caught up in wash.

Bad enough that they've cancelled practice.

Last play of the session, too. He's really hurting as they work on his left leg. He was off the ball. The cart is out. #Bengals

Core down, Ross not even started yet.

Not a great start for WR depth.

Alex Erickson somewhere has had a huge weight lifted off his shoulders.

He wasn't going anywhere anyway. They already said they wanted to keep 7 receivers to keep him. You don't lead the Conference in returns and get cut....

Sucks.  They said he's been looking awesome.  Confident and fast.

Praying for a very quick recovery

This could open the door for someone to get some time in like Russell or Kumerow if they still roll with 7

Hopefully core will be alright and back on the field by TC

That's what happens when you don't have an indoor practice facility.

More like somewhere the lowest Olineman, Dlineman or Secondary player has had a huge weight lifted off his shoulders.

^ and even if it's just a bruise, that's season-ending w our medical team (possibly career ending)

according to Jim O ...no ligament damage. If its a break he's back for the middle of training camp.

On the final play of practice too, sounds about right. Always seems to happen to the one standout player in practice every year. Hope it's nothing serious. Time for Malone to step up.

As for not having an indoor practice facility, not sure if that would have any effect on player injuries. Would be curious to see just how many players get injured in practice in an indoor field compared to our door. I would assume if our practice field is that much of a hazard that the players would have the balls to stand up and demand something about it.

Get well soon Core.

Maybe even an amputation needed.
