Your under the radar player who could be a difference maker this year
#1
1st week in of 2017 and we know who the headiners are
Green Ross Mixon Burfict Minter Bernard
But what player at the end of 2017 (hopefully playoffs and beyond )
Will be that unsung hero difference maker playmaker ?
I'm gonna go with Brandon LaFell.
I think he had a very solid 2016 and with the departure of Whit and Peko
He could fill that void left in the locker room as far that seasoned vet keeping things together
With so much concentration on Green Mixon and Eifert ,LaFell could be that threat on offense
That comes up with the big 3rd down catch to keep a drive going or that red zone TD
He's darn good run blocker and really is a pros pro
I can see LaFell making a lot of plays that don't show up in the box score

Wallace Gilberry at nickle DT the Bengals will want Clarke, Deshawn Williams, and Marcus Hardison to win that job but the pesky vet will win it and get 5.5 sacks this season.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Josh Shaw

One of our most underrated players in general. Can play CB and S, and actually is solid playing both.

Think if they legit gave him a shot, he could earn a starting role on defense

Seriously, I think one guy that might surprise as a rookie (granted he is a first round pick) is WJIII. The guy already has two pick sixes (in practice) and has shown flashes of what made him so lethal at Houston.

The only reason I would consider him "under the radar" is because he isn't currently penciled in as a starter, but I think Adam Jones is a much better slot corner than outside at this point of his career and I would love to see WJIII take that starter's job and never look back.

In terms of a much more "under the radar" player, I am going with CJ Uzomah. There are lots of shiny, speedy options flying around out there, but I like the idea of a chain-mover that is a great threat in the Red Zone.

Kevarie Russell- the CB we picked up earlier this year outta Notre Dame.   If we can't have Hawkeyes on our team, the Irish are just as good.

Deceitful, two-faced she-woman. Never trust a female, Delmar, remember that one simple precept and your time with me will not have been ill spent.

Ryan Mallet has been seeing Kevarie in his nightmares after his INT last year.  Hilarious

Russell Bodine....well he better if he wants a good contract at least....
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Vigil or Evans. Whoever wins the role of covering the tight end on passing downs

I can definitely see that this year with Iloka and Smith knicked up in camp.

Jake Elliot! He's going to win 1 or 2 games for us this year.

Tough to really call anyone under the radar on this board. Too many knowledgeable people.

That being said, I'm looking for Marcus Hardison to finally have somewhat of an impact.

Early camp indications do seem to be leaning this way. Good choice.
