Unless you're subscribed to them, for all you know he's right after Cousins.

Seen quite a bit of "Can't put X above him because he's to old" or "Can't put Y above him because he's too old" ect...

Either you use the entire population or we don't list the 31 other QBs, just those around Andy's age (Kirk Cousins).

Good thing lists from talking heads don't mean anything. Otherwise teams like the Steelers would be in the AFC championship game every year. Dalton is easily better than Cousins.

This is the best way to do it imo, is by tiers. I personally have him as a lower end tier 2 qb.

I'd put them pretty equal right now. Cousins played 32 games over the last 2 years as a full time starter. If you take Dalton's numbers from '15 when he got injured and project them for 16 games to give him 32, here is how they compare.

Cousins
2 year totals. 785 comp, 1,149 att, 68.3 comp%, 9,083 yards, 7.9 ypa, 54 tds, 23 ints, 99.3 rating
per game. 25-36, 69.4, 284, 7.9, 1.6/0.7 td/int

Dalton
2 year totals. 700 comp, 1,075 att, 65.1 comp%, 8,542 yards, 7.9 ypa, 51 tds, 17 ints, 98.7 rating
per game. 22-34, 64.7, 267, 7.9, 1.6/0.5 td/int

And, you could easily argue Cousins has been better the last 2 years and i wouldn't dispute it. He was one of the 12 that i counted as at least equal to Dalton.

I actually only have them separated by experience. I like Cousins a lot and feel he doesn't get the respect he deserves. I guess he and Dalton are similar in that regard as well.

I've had my doubts about Dalton, and in all honesty I still do. With that said, he's still better than half the starting QBs in the league. 2015 was an epic year for him but I'm not sure he'll be able to reproduce that type of play without Hue Jackson and playing behind this inferior o line.

He probably has the best players at the skill positions in the entire league though.

I say top 10 man.

Dude played great last year considering the crappy O-line play and he was a top 5 QB in 2015 easily until the injury.

Should have huge numbers this year as well if the O-line can just play decent.

So many weapons at his disposal.

I give Dalton the slight nod over Cousins.

My reasoning is that both had success in Gruden's quick passing West Coast Offense. Now here's the rub, Dalton has also been successful in Hue Jackson Air Coryell system that has a deeper route trees.

Well not sure were you are finding them.. I don;t see any in the thread like that maybe you can copy paste the ones i am missing in the thread.... and you state "quite a bit" now if you read that from other threads etc fine.. but that is taking it out of context with this thread and poll...
