Takeo and Solomon
Make or break year for Marvin( one year left on a contract)
Brags about Marvin Community work
Talked about Takeo TD against the Ravens in 2001
Takeo- no fear from coaching stuff to young talented players prior to Marvin.
Marvin changed the culture which he stayed here.
Solomon-The Bengal were in the bottom of the ocean before Marvin.
Mike Brown deserves credit for letting. Marvin take control
Mike does not believe in punishment for ever as long as they pay their debt to society.
Joe Mixion will be a treat to watch, hard worker, will do anything to score.

Jordan Willis and Carl Lawson are natural rush passers.
Staying healthy key to this season
Young guys on both sides can get us over the top
Turnovers lead to points. Impressed with talent on offense. 9only 5 forced fumbles last season bottom third.
Geno and Him are always competing for sacks against each other.
On his leadership- tries to lead by example and by taking care of his body. Talks about prehab vs rehab

Vontaz Burfict
-Feels in better shape than previous training camp
- came in at 250
-feels like they have great leadership
Defense playing fast in OTAS and training camp
-Takeo thinks he is Peyton manning of defensive players
-accepts his dirty reputation
-says Gio is his dude play last week was him playing hard and Fullback missing block on him. Was preparing to launch into FB but wasn't there and hit Gio.
Solomon- He has nothing to apologize for; He plays hard James Harrison does not apogize for his hits, Ray Lewis did not apologize for his hits, the Browns well they didn't have a linebacker like any of those players so yeah they apologized for their play.

Will be back pretty soon: looked worse than what it was.
Need to come out fast as secondary last year started slow as but finished great.
William Jackson can cover the hell out of people. Really twitchy and fast. Expects big things from him
Same goals as last year- lead the league in pass defense and be the best secondary in NFL.
Solomon Iloka QB of Secondary.
Talks about overcomicating with younger players and trusting pac and Kirk who is used to playing with.
Talks about how huge pre snaps adjustments are.
The Sky the limit for the Bengals

Biggest adjustment- the mental side of the game; needs to know 2-3 plays coming into play from scrimmage.
Shoulder 90% ready
Wants to have fun and enjoy the game. Playing next to AJ is a blessing.
Solomon- Speed does kill.
Takei- Speed will scare the living hell out of other teams.

Also both guys are impressed by Josh Malone as well.
Speed will open up Boyd, Minion, Bernard, and Eifert on underneath routes.
Takeo - Not a team in NFL with this much Talent.
Offensive line needs to be better.

Solomon- they will miss both Zeitler and Whitworth.
Young Offensive line might prevent against big deep play callers.

I LOVE IT!
Thanks for the updates.
WJIII and our young secondary seem like they're ready to be playmakers and make pick-off some passes, which is exactly what I've been expecting and what I've been excited to see.
Love to hear that Geno and Dunlap are competing and also that Lawson still looks as good as he first appeared because a pass rush will only make my thoughts about the secondary stronger in thinking that they'll be playmakers because the pass rush will force throws.
I love that Mixon's a beast and I realize we'll keep him for depth but I hope we don't let him vulture Mixon's touchdowns.
I'd like to hear more about the line because that's my only concern, but either no news is good news or they're just trying to overshadow the problems with all of this good news.

Did they say if they're seeing issues with the line or if they just assume that the youth will cause problems with the losses of Z and Whit?
I'm hoping that we won't need big deep passes because the defense will hopefully be stacking the box to stop Mixon and the receivers won't need much time to make the corners turn to run because, once the corners turn their hips, it really doesn't matter how far downfield you throw it because the receiver has the advantage, and not to mention that our receivers are fast enough that Andy can put air under it and let them run under it.

Entering his seventh year
Will be a big adjustment without whit and Kevin
Key is getting a ton of reps on offensive line
Hard to run against Pitt and Balt
Need to get the RBs going good early this year
Smith being back is good, talks and helps him out a lot. Plays happen faster and stronger than on outside.
Geno one of the première players in The NFL.
Need to be tough to play offensive line.

I think it was more that there young and inexpeirenced; the really emphasized that both Dalton and Zambezi have to be on their A games.

Excited about playing at this time of the year
250-260 not natraul wieght needs to weight lift after practice to stay healthy.
Were finding a groove in trainging camp to finish the year off were they want to be. Always has the skill position talent but ended up being disappointment. Seemed irritated by that.
Joe has the body and brains to last in the NFL.
Ross been Flying
Getting lots of work in training camp. Team knows how to practice.
Moved the ball well needs to better job taking car of the Ball and score Touchdowns in redzone.

Both Spikes and Solomon seem very high on this team except for the offensive Line.
They Seem to think that all 3 RBs are starting caliber, they seem to think Lawson is the real deal, both love Vontaz as a player.
Didn't know this but apparently Katies daughter is working with the team. Solomon thinks Josh Malone will be a difference maker by end of the season.
Both impressed with LB speed off edge and in coverage. Solomon Talked about them playing 4-3 in nickel situations.
