Might be the case if it was further out, but not testing much with a chip shot barely over 30 yards.

I actually live about a half hour from Bristol and I still don't get the appeal of auto racing. It seems so boring to watch cars circle a track.  I'm really not criticizing. I just would like someone to explain it to me.

You pretty much summed it up right there. It's a bunch of high speed left turns and the occasional wreck. I don't see the appeal of watching it either, but damn it would be fun to be a driver
