Dark Comedies
#1
I like a good dark comedy. The Coen Brothers movies like "Fargo" are among my favorites. I would include "Pulp Fiction" in with this category.

Anyone else into this genre? Any good suggestions?

American Psycho is great. Krampus isn't bad. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favorites. Grosse Point Blank (and just about anything with John Cussack).

Krampus as a dark comedy? I thought it was a terrible non scary scary movie.

Kalifornia with David duchovney is great

If you don't mind reading subtitles or can watch a movie in Spanish then "El dia de la bestia" (Day of the Beast) is one I really like. There are a lot of what they call black comedies from Spain which are pretty good but the director of that on, Alex De La Iglesia, is the best.

I've watched the first two episodes.  Didn't know you could just randomly challenge someone to a holmgang because you want their stuff.

The Santa Clara Diet was pretty good.

Was just talking to a coworker about that. Surprised me how much I liked it.

british comedy series 'snuff box' is the all time greatest imo. it comes and goes from streaming services, currently on Seeso I believe, but that is dying so it will get picked up again by one of the others. Matt Berry (boss / ceo from IT crowd) and Rich Fulcher's finest work. Im a fan of basically anything those two do, but that one is the all time funniest dark comedies. I'm talking DARK.

all, 'toast of london', is on netflix right now. will take a few episodes to get into, but it gets really good half way through the fist season. not as dark as 'snuff box', but another great Matt Berry performance.

2 that I found hysterical, but probably weren't intended to be: Leaving Las Vegas and Natural Born Killers

+1 for leaving loss vegas

Along those lines I'd throw 'falling down' out there. Not necessarily a comedy, but gd if it isn't funny in he context of what I feel like engaging in while in traffic.

Falling Down definitely had a lot of humorous moments (the LAW rocket scene, etc.).
