The Cycle of Hope and Despair of a Bengals Fan
#1
I follow other teams and none are like this. The Bengals constantly give you just enough to get your hopes up only to crush them.

Beating Denver then Cleveland only to lose to Pittsburgh.

Making the playoffs 5 years in a row only to lose all games.

Drafting and hyping skill players...only to not use them.

Taking big 1st half leads against the Steelers and Packers...only to lose it.

It's more torture this way than if they'd just go 3-13 every year I think. We'd atleast expect that.

They find different ways to lose too. It's not just 1 particular area that fails. They have no seeming strength that never wavers.

And water is wet...anything else obvious you want to point out?

Did this really need to be a thread?

Hey...maybe we need more threads about how we're 2-1 out of the last 3 weeks after beating the 3-9 Broncos and 0-12 Browns and hung in there with a 10-2 team. Moral victory!  Hilarious
