So I'm of the camp to fire ALL coaches and get a fresh slate in.
But, with the Bengals the coaches scout too. So you bring a new staff in for Jan and Feb and you lose all of that scouting from the college season. While, I'd still want a new staff over that...I think to Bengals Management it might be a big deal.
That's why the new coach will likely come from within. And you may see some position coaches retained...although I'd argue that some don't want to come back and will take jobs elsewhere.
I know some want a Zimmer-type...but the new coach won't be a fiery emotional guy. That style would clash with Management.
You'll likely see an internal hire or a guy like Vance Johnson that gets fired with the Broncos. Maybe Jackson. Maybe Jay Gruden.
