The bfirst Mock
#1
RD 1:
CLV- JOSH ALLEN/QB- Big arm will be useful in bad weather
NYG- BRADLEY CHUBB/ DE- Last time NYG picked 2nd they took Lawrence Taylor
IND- SHAQUAN BARKLEY/ RB- Frank Gore has to run out of gas at some point
CLV- MINKAH FITZPATRICK/ DB- Replacement for Joe Hayden
DEN- SAM DARNOLD/ QB- John Elway takes a PAC 10 QB
NYJ- JOSH ROSEN/ QB- Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer.
TBB- MIKE MCGLINCHEY/OT- Winston is the franchise, they must protect him
CHI- CALVIN RIDLEY/WR- The Bears has nothing at WR and the new QB needs somebody to throw to
SFF- QUINTON NELSON/CB- SF get their “Tom Brady” his “Logan Mankins”
OAK- ROQUAN SMITH/LB- Jon Gruden gets his Derrick Brooks to go with the Simeon Rice on the team
MIA- JOSHUA JACKSON/CB- Playing Tom Brady twice a year you need all the good CBs you can get

CINCINNATI BENGALS:

TREMANE EDMUNDS/LB 6’5” 250 lbs
[Image: 610093876.jpg.0.jpg]
Many scouts state they have NEVER seen the combination of size and speed that Tre possesses. All Tre needs to be a constant All-Pro LB is coaching and strength. Nobody fancies themselves a better LB whisperer than Marvin.
Tre can play any LB position, but I see him at SAM, with VB taking over the MIKE and Jordan Evans/Vigil fighting for the starting WILL

RD 2:
ISAIAH WYNN/OG 6’2” 300

If Wynn was taller and longer he’d be long gone by now, but he has a OT build in a Center’s height, so he slides.

RD 3:
MIKE GESICKI/TE 6’6” 252

Arguably the pass catching TE in the draft. Unfortunately, he’s not going to bring you a whole lot with inline blocking. Dude is a former HS state Slam Duke champion, so he has some ups.

RD 4:
WILL RICHARDSON/OT 6’6” 322

Will has been suspended twice in his career at NC ST, including the first couple games this year, but dude is arguably the most talented OT in this draft. If he would have chosen to return and had a clean season we could be talking 1st Rd. Dude is a dog.

RD 5:
DARIUS PHILLIPS/ CB 5’10” 190

Hopefully we cut ties with Pacman and this guy is similar in size and speed. He is also a return specialist. If he lights up the combine (most likely will) he may cost us a 4th RD

RD 6:
JAMIYUS PITTMAN/ DT 6’1” 319

[Image: knights-defensive-lineman-jamiyus-pittma...?s=612x612]
Dude is a Geno clone as far as game play and size, hell he’s even from Georgia.

RD 7:
JT BARRET/ QB 6’2” 220

Love the dude’s attitude. Kept getting shuffled in and out as OSU’s QB, but never lost focus.

Pittman looks awfully lean, for 6'1" 319. Hope he's thicker front to back, than he appears side to side.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

I like this but a couple things.
1. I don't want burfict playing mike. Every time he does he always goes out a minimum of 3 times a game because he got hurt. I'd keep him at the will with Edmunds as the Sam and Evans at the mike. Or Edmunds at the mike with Evans/vigil at Sam.
2. I love gesecki. My favorite te in this class.  But how do u feel he compares to Dallas goedert? Bc he's compared to gronk by most everyone.
3. Jt Barrett. As long as he was not injured he was never taken out as osu qb. The year we won the championship the following year Meyer went to a 2 qb system after starting cardale. Jt took over. Besides that Barrett always been there startinginf osu qb.

I am very high on Gesecki! I think he could be just as good or better than Eifert when it comes to playmaking and scoring.

Nice.  I hadn't even considered the VT LB......interesting pick, especially if Smith is gone.  Very solid group......I've noticed the Penn St TE in most mocks I've seen, I like that pick a bunch as well.  JT Barrett is interesting......needs some work in the passing game, but he is a team first guy, tough, and a worker.  Not a bad 7th round pick at all, IMO.

The one guy I have flags on would be the T out of NC State.  Can Merv and company get him focused and get his discipline issues lined out?  That's an issue with this organization.  If so, it would most likely be a steal in the 4th.

Good work b. :andy:

Would not come away mad if this happened.

Although not you per se, but every year people mock a Geno clone and think Atkins is more the exception to the rule than the cookie cutter model.

Yeah, but there was only one that mocked the actual Geno to the Bengals

I dig it. I need to watch more tape on Edmunds. Also like Pittman in the later rounds, could see him becoming a late round gem.

For a guy that is 319 lbs, he sure as hell don't look it.

I made the pictures all the same dimensions and his was stretched vertically.  Perhaps this is better:

A ton to like with this mock.

My questions:
1) Where would you put Wynn on the line?
2) If the above answer is not C, why was C left out? Unless you think C will be addressed in FA? (Please no Bodine!)
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

What I meant to say, after the comment about Pittman looking really lean for 319, was that I really like the draft. I would have no qualms, whatsoever, if it turned out that way. Although, I'm quite skeptical of JT Barrett as a Pro QB. I guess no harm taking a 7th round chance on him.

As a diehard Bucks fan, I am too. Can they teach him accuracy at the next level? I don't think he is a bad QB but I don't see him taking the reigns of an NFL team either.

1) He and Boling play the Left side. Just unsure which would be guard and which would be tackle

2) I still have hopes for Westerman. Folks forget he had a second round grade and his comparison was Alex Mack.

If this draft happens, then Wynn or Boiling could play LT.  If I recall correctly, when the team drafted Westerman, they thought he could play guard and center.

Gotcha. You know I like Wynn and Boling next to each other. Also in favor of Westerman at C as long as he gets a shot somewhere!

As usual, good work. Pretty dang solid through 5. I prefer Edmunds or James with our first pick, then fill in as you have done. First four rounds could be really good if they pan out.

Sure feels good to know that we dodged that R.Foster bullet. That said, he's been pretty good on the field.
