Mower was a reck and I was dreading it. Had a flat tire and a dead battery. Pulled the car up (LOL) jumped it and had a cigarette lighter air pump that I plugged in and filled the tire. Who would have known buying a pump on a whim 2yrs ago when my tire was going flat at Autozone on my way to work would save the day? LOL.
Anyway. felt pretty friggin good. Now comes yard work. Not looking forward to that shit. Specially when the wife is supervising.
Please snow!
Mowing lawns?!?!
What is that about?
What are lawns?
In AZ, you "rake the rocks".

Since I stopped using regular gas with 10% alcohol (or whatever the percentage is ) my lawn mower has never failed to start.. Some people will say to add gasoline stabilizer in regular gas and it might do the trick as well, but the alcohol does condense and leaves water in the tank.
While on the subject if you don't know where to buy alcohol free gasoline there's plenty of sites to tell you . One is https://www.pure-gas.org
Alcohol free gas cost a bit more ,but unless you're driving your riding mower cross country to Alaska and back it shouldn't break the bank. Alcohol free gas is a hell of a lot cheaper than a new lawn mower and annual or even monthly repairs .
As luck would have it....not a damn one in my town. Interesting link though....thanks for sharing.

Went to a co-op today and asked for Calcium Chloride. Guy says, "We don't carry that?" So I bit him!

He's a bad ass. During the winter, we shovel snow off the porch. BZ shovels rattlesna kes and Scorpios off his, then enjoys his morning fap.

Seriously. And those suckers don't wait for you to die to move in to your house either!
Over in Quartzsite, some dude's game camera snapped this picture over the weekend:
The dude said he was wondering why his cat was all clawed to hell and didn't want to go outside anymore. Now, he knows, eh!

I think grampa meant ethanol not alcohol ( I could be wrong ).
Lowes and home depot both carry additive free gas in the lawn mower section ( very costly cans ).

It's cheaper to go to your local municipal airport and buy some airplane fuel, i.e. ethanol free, high octane gasoline.
My next door neighbor goes once every few weeks and takes about 20 gallons worth of cans for his lawn and garden equipment and dirt bikes.
I don't give a damn myself. I've yet to break an engine despite abusing the hell out of all of them and exclusively using 10% ethanol mixtures. Disclaimer: the fuel does have Stabil added to each 5 gallon can as I DESPISE rebuilding a carburetor and am not going to empty the tank of a piece of equipment after each use because I don't know how long it might be before I use it again.

I concur on the non-ethanol for your lawn and garden equipment. Since I made the switch, all of my hard to start pieces seem to turn right over.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
