I was same way towards the end of it too. I really liked the first Doom one tho, had a blast with it. But with Eternal the novelty of it wore off with me.

Glad to know it's not just me. It's a weird game where all of its parts are objectively pretty freaking great, but the overall product is just good. Kind of like a Tears of the Kingdom situation for me. Maybe if DOOM 2016 didn't exist I would be in love with Eternal. But it didn't really do quite enough to differentiate itself.

Dark Souls is the best video game this side of the 3D era and if you disagree you are wrong.
Thoroughly enjoying a playthrough (and probably a few more) of Dark Souls Remastered as I wait for 2 and 3 and hopefully Elden Ring to go on sale sometime on PS Store. As much as I love them, I don't feel like paying full price for them again.

Went to download Dark Souls II for the PS5 and forgot Elden Ring and it's DLC was also in my cart when hitting the purchase button.
Looks like I'm playing Elden Ring again soon.

About 1/2 way through Dark Souls 2. It's different than 1 and 3, but not in a bad way, just different. I know a lot of people like to crap on it. I played the crap out of 1 and 2, not so much 3. Looking forward to revisiting 3.

i was pretty disappointed in 3 just because it didnt have any of the things DS2 did so well... (still love 3 overall just was disappointed some of the mechanics didnt make it over)
3s dlc pulled in some of 2s aspects though
