Tate is one of those receivers, there have been others, that doesn't start well but he finishes like a demon !!! He's not gonna blow you away with his speed. He doesn't remind you of some graceful olympic athlete running routes. But he flat gets to the ball when it gets there.

No doubt. Him coming down with all these contested catches is no fluke. He’s got “it”.

He reminds me a little of TJ - another guy who wasn't exactly a speed demon - with how he fights for ball when it's a contested catch.

You heard Hobspin last offseason when it came to the line and Ceds growth.

And we know not to trust him.

You didn't hear it from the players like this offseason.....

I'm starting to believe.

Hobspin is ridiculously bad at reporting. But, if other teams believe his hype? We are further under the radar than we expect.

Not much other than Walton fumbling early in camp and this article about Vinny ray praising Jefferson:

Here's the vid you're talking about:

Great catch, but not college. Only one foot down so out of bounds so no TD like was mentioned earlier

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

Yeah baby...

Then Boyd and now this crazy big soft handed TD machine in Auden Tate...

Hard to not get excited about this passing game, let alone the running game when we added two great run blockers....

I need to do more of these...........................................................................

Cutting LaFell could also make room for another FA acquisition even.

If it comes down to those two I'd go Tate without a seconds hesitation. Lafell's experience is nothing to sneeze at but in the same breath his career has been fairly pedestrian. We'll have Boyd, Ross, and Malone to fill those shoes.

If Eifert goes down and well ummmm you know. I'd love to have a redzone threat like Tate, he just flat out wills his way to the ball.

With both of them on the field and AJ inside the 20 D's will be having nightmares trying to cover that and Gio or Mixon out of backfield.
