As to the OP, Son of Paul would most likely have found a way to **** that up.  Also, as Sunset noted, jokingly...but there's actually some truth in it, he wouldn't have paid those salaries.  Wasn't this before the time of limited rookie contracts?  He would have NEVER paid top dollar for blue chip players.

Best part is that MB turned down all those picks to take a super bust and then followed that up by being our GM for another 2+ decades. At least when other franchises do stupid crap fans can take comfort in the notion that someone new will take over and provide some slim form of hope. Oh well.

If memory serves, wasnt it the redskins that took the deal? It certainly didnt turn them into a SB winner or even a contender. MB wouldve fared even worse with whoever he took
