A surprising, but welcome 3-1 start.

The ONLY game they lost they failed to score 30 points.

I don't see 30 points EVERY week from this team, so I sure do hope Burfict stays 'within the lines' and ends up helping the defense out and they tweak it to it's capability.

(Sidebar: I hope the Ravens beat the Steelers like dogs tonight. Regardless how it helps the Bengals I will NEVER EVER root for a Steelers victory!)

After your "BOOM" thread, I'm really not interested in anything you have to say.  Who says they'll need to score 30+ points to win every week anyway.  Why don't you join jwayne?

They don't need to score 30+.

They're something like 42-1-2 when they score 25+.

Point being, as FIK broke down, defense has to step up and stop giving up 30+ points.

They will. As i pointed out, in 2012 they gave up 28 per game the first 4 and shut people down at the end of the year.

Hopefully.  Burfict will help some, depending on how long it takes to get into game shape and if he can conform to all the new and old rules.

Maybe I am being Nieve but I am really not worried about our defense in the long run. We still have a great core of players on that side. I just think were seeing a lot of communication break downs and too soft of coverage..
