San Francisco is next at .308.

Bengals beat Miami in November of 1977 to give them a 3-4 head-to-head record against the Fins.  It would be 27 years before the Bengals would beat them again.  The Dolphins won 9 in a row against the Bengals until we beat them 16-13 in 2004.

We have won 3 of the last six games, but they still give us trouble.  We lost to them in both '12 and '13 when we were a playoff team and they did not even have a winning record.  In '13 Nugent hit a FG to give us a 3 point lead with just 1:24 left, but Tannehill looked like Brady driving the team to a game tying FG on the last play.  Then we lost on a safety in overtime.

None of this will probably have any effect on our ability to win Sunday, but it is interesting history.

Yeah , I hate playing Miami. It seems like it is always an ugly game and the Bengals usually look like they are sleepwalking. Maybe now that the Phins are 3-1 also and we have a chip on our shoulder, we can come out and take care of business. 

The Bengals, in my view, are clearly better than Miami and a loss would completely deflate what they are trying to build.
