I can't think of anything else but I love the idea because it gives us a chance to see if the AFCN is back to the best division in football again (or close).

I also love the dedication  ThumbsUp

I did it last year and it was pretty fun to see how the division and each team stacked up against each other division.

But there is only 1 division picked to have 3 winning teams this year and its the AFCN....

Last year was a tight race that could have seen all 4 teams with winning records.

Okay Ill do week 1 matchups.

Steelers @ Patriots
Bengals @ Raiders
Ravens @ Broncos
Browns @ Jets

How does the AFCN Fair week 1...?

All away games 2 going west 2 east.

I could see 1-3 with bengals the lone win this week as well.

Pats wax the Steelers in PrimeTime on opening day because, let's face it, that's where Tommy Touchdown thrives the most.  Plus, no Bell or Bryant.

Bengals announce to the league that we're back with Hill running all over them and Geno dominating on defense (there will obviously be AJ, Eifert, MJ, Dunlap, etc., too).

Peyton Manning is still Peyton Manning and not to mention CJ Anderson will play a bigger role this year, so Broncos take that.

Jets have a tough D and the Browns are the Browns, so Johnny football doing lines of coke off the bench won't do anything for them.

I agree with 1-3 and the Bengals being the only win.

Jets are a mess so the Browns might win that one.

Steelers have too many player out. Plus their biggest weaknesses are rushing the passer and coverage. Plus, anyone remember what the Patriots did the year after Spygate?

Ravens/Chargers could go either way. I take the Chargers just because they are at home.

So 1-3 or 2-2.

No surprises there. Pittsburgh just couldn't keep up with Bell, Bryant, and Pouncy out.

Dang! One dropped Steve Smith game winning TD away from winning. Good showing either way.

were both offensive struggling? or where both defenses dominate?

I would say both offenses came in with questions (Manning with some regression, Ravens with some injuries/new faces) and weren't representative of what they will be once in midseason form, but the defenses were pretty incredible. Two of those Broncos FGs were over 50 yards. No offensive TDs. The first red zone appearance by an offensive in the game was with 4 minutes left. One by each team before the end of the game.

I think the refs were pretty fair in that they didn't throw many flags that weren't pre-snap. That means some contact on receivers was ignored for both teams.

Onto Week 3.
Bengals @Ravens
Steelers @Rams
Raiders @Browns

Week 3 finally Brings us an AFCN Showdown..(so only 3 games this week) With the Bengals Traveling to Baltimore to attempt to put the Ravens Down and out Early(in the season) and the bengals work to maintain their division lead and the ravens work to eliminate the goose egg in the win column.

The Raiders come Visit Cleveland (3 straight AFCN teams sucks to be them) As the 2 teams fight to get above .500

And the Steelers get another Crack at the NFCW facing off against St. Louis.

Prediction 2-2 (Bengals and Steelers score the Wins)

As always the first post of the thread has been updated with the week 2 Data.

WEEK 3 Complete........ And updated in Post 1.

This week saw the first AFCN Divisional Clash between the Ravens and the Bengals.
The Raiders take on their 3rd AFCN in a row in the Browns and the Steelers setting the field on fire out in St Louis. As the AFCN goes 2-2

Bengals Continue their Winning Ways handing Flacco and Comp their 2nd ever loss at home in September (in back to back home openers) and their first ever 0-3 Start as the Bengals move to 3-0

The Browns fell to the RAIDERS (who have a 2-1 record vs the division this season) in a close one 27-20

And the Steelers WON and LOST in St Louis. As they managed to win the game with the sole TD of the competition but Lost their QB Big Ben for at least 1/4 of the season Ouch.

Here are your overall Divison Standings after 3 weeks

And the Bengals invite the Cheifs (3rd AFCW team in 4 games) into the jungle for a Showdown.
