This is the way our offense works, and has for 16 years.

RB 1 gets the 1st and 2nd down snaps for 2 drives.

RB 2 gets the 1st and 2nd down snaps for the 3rd drive.

Repeat.

The only change to this comes in the 2 minute drill, when the 3rd down back stays on the field...

I never understood why they hired the d coordinator from Detroit. Wasn’t like Detroit ever had a defense worth a crap. I would have rather taken my chances with a homeless man off the streets.

Third down stop!!! I believe the receiver gets credit for a pass defenses there. Just knocked it right down.

Because Gio got the third drive.

The 4th drive was in the two minute drill, thus the 3rd down back (Gio) stays on the field for all downs.

The first drive of the second half saw Mixon on the field on 1st and 2nd down, Gio on third.

The next drive will have Mixon on first and second down.

Gio will get the drive after that.

This is not rocket science...
