It's time we moved on from Price
#81
He only played one year at C in college. In retrospect, maybe doing what the other teams who drafted C's did, and that was play them at G might have been the way to go. Give the guy a year to learn the NFL game before saddling him with making the line calls while he's still learning to block NFL defenses.

And then, when he came back, he probably should have played RG, since Hopkins outplayed him at C and Redmond was so bad.

Ya but that would have made sense so that rules out Cincinnati doing it.

Ha! Yeah we can't even change game plans at halftime, let alone change our roster/depth chart. That sorcery is forbidden in Cincinnati

Anyone that doesn't have an adult name in the NFL should be cut. Bill Price.

You are correct sir. It seems like we draft a lineman and say we drafted a center so he has to stay at center. I think we may have done just this with Fisher and OG. Someone stated in another thread that OG had his best years of college at guard and was bad at both tackle spots. Why not give him a look at guard. Same with Fisher. May not help but a lot of teams have drafted tackles that didnt work out turned into fine guards. Kyle Long, Brandon Shareff, Osemele,Saffold and so forth. At least maybe we could get production from a first or second round pick and not just have 2 high waisted picks. I think Price will be good though. He just needs some help from the lost right guard. The guy just stands and blocks air on stunts.
