Isn’t the driskell supposed to be mobile? Why no runs?

3. Lamar Jackson look incompetent. ( Kinda happening - he's fumbled twice, 1 returned for TD)

Pretty much every Bronco game thread has people screaming that Von is offsides, but he isn't. He is just that good at timing it, and that explosive.

Not really. The Bengals have been gifted 2 or 3 bad calls against the Broncos. Pre-snap penalties are killing them and they're inexcusable at home.

Yeah really. The call on Miller was bad. They owe us like 6 penalties before you can say this crap.

And if Von is so good at the cadence, the refs would be calling him on SOME offsides, as far as I can tell he has zero all game. He was offsides on the play that caused Driskell to get intentional grounding. Wish Geno would get some help from the refs like that, somehow.

Whatever is happening this team is so far away from being a playoff winning team, compare what we're seeing to how the Patriots play. I can't imagine 8 penalties. There is no vocal leader that has substance to back them up ala T. Brady.

Do we think all of the strong winds are negatively affecting Driskell's accuracy? Hell, the ball blew off the tee waiting to be kicked off and the referee looked like he was about to blow away standing next to the ball.

This wind could make for a tough day in the passing and kicking game.

That said -- when do we get to put in an indoor stadium to take these factors out of the performance equation? :)

Bengals are in this game. Broncos just beat Chargers and Steelers (hot).

Maybe Driskel can open it up in second half and also find some touch, every throw is 110 MPH. Relax kid.

They have him playing the Andy Dalton playbook. This is a big time coach's problem, they should be fired! OC, HC, QB coahc, whoever is involved and was at the table and didn't say this is a bad idea.

No they aren't. For most of that first half they were giving Driskel easy throws scheming receivers open for catch and run plays. Lazor hasnt done that for Dalton all season

Other than penalties and TOP, the game stats are pretty even.

It's his first NFL start, so it looks like Marv has our play calling in ultra-not-to-lose mode.

I see 33 offensive plays in the first half, yet we've only given the ball to Mixon 8 times. The guy has been the most consistent player the last several weeks, both as a runner and receiver, so WTF?

Onside kicks don't really work anymore. They took away the ability of the kicking team to get a running start, so now they have to run from a dead stop 10-15 yards and get the ball before the guys waiting there get it.

It really just isn't feasible without the running start. Difficult task made neaely impossible.

Meanwhile the Bengals just got a gift first down on a bad penalty against Miller who pancaked Hart.

I’m listening to Lap on the radio. He’s normally really good at calling bad calls. He’s been bitching at the Bengal players way more than the refs.

This is just evident that Dalton isn't the issue.. It's the coaching.. This isn't preseason. This is a MUST WIN GAME. Regardless of what we believe here, these pros are playing for a next level spot in the season and poor mistakes continue to happen.
