One big job filled, one big job to go.

If we're hiring Zac's guy, sounds like we truly are hiring Zac.

No, but nothing wrong with a little confirmation.  We are Bengals fans, after all.

How odd is it that Jon Gruden was the one to announce it?

Nice of Gruden to make the announcement for us. Still no confirmation from the team

They might not dare to.  Stupid rule is stupid.

I think bill follows, we need press also. He would be a bonus. Do you feel this was orchestrated through zeal, or the bengals? I hope we get del rio next

Press seems like a long shot.  With the OC job taken, it would only leave QB coach and you'd have to wonder if Philly would let him leave for a lateral move.

Remember how we all thought Donte Whitner was going to be a Bengal? Nothing is certain until officially signed.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Callahan isn't still with a team that is playing.  I suspect they wanted to announce the HC and then the coordinators so that it was clearly established the coordinators were Zac's picks

Yep, this if true.  I also remember the infamous night when it looked like Warren Sapp was seconds away from signing.

Or when Donte Whitner was signed. Or when we were about to trade for Shaun Rogers. Or Drew Bledsoe. Or when we signed Barry Foster.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

And the now infamous AJ trade to the Browns.
