No shit? If this is any kind of a rick roll, I'm afraid we'll never be able to be friends again.

Nothing more to see here folks.
We'll have Defensive coaches by training camp.
Seriously? no way are they doing absolutely nothing until Tuesday of next week.

Exactly. Football don't take no damn Monday holidays. They might not be getting mail but they will be working Monday. And probably Saturday and Sunday too.

I am not saying that Okeana is lying. But the fact that he said "Tennessee" instead of a specific city could indicate that this is a fabrication.
But "lack of detail" is just an indicator, not absolute proof.
The #Bengals wanted to interview Ohio State defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley for their vacant DC job, sources tell @RapSheet. However, I’m told he’s not going to renege on his commitment to OSU after taking the job last month. So Cincy’s search continues.

I guess there are degrees of being turned down. Some are, "if things were different I'd be interested" compared to "not interested". But both are declines though.
Bengals mistake may have been to let it be known who they are interviewing. Maybe saying, "we're interviewing a number of candidates and we'll announce our decision when we reach one" might have been a better approach. Who wants to be the 15th guy on the list?
They should just cut Burfict and hire him as DC and be done with it. Of course, he might say no too.

I absolutely agree the publicness of it all is the biggest problem. But, in this day and age, there's almost no getting around that. Damn this day and age.

Do you think if the Patriots called him and asked him to interview for their DC job that he'd turn them down for the same reason?

Is there any chance at all you could back off the inundation even a little bit? You're like wave after wave of Mongols coming down over the hill when you get going.
