Bengals positional spending 2019
#1
Thought people would be interested to see where the Bengals fall on positional spending. Bolded indicates top 10.
Data pulled from Spotrac.

QB - 19th ($16.9 mill)
RB/FB - 16th ($7.2 mill)
WR - 11th ($26.6 mill)
TE - 8th ($11.4 mill)
OL - 19th ($34.3 mill)
DL - 12th ($31.8 mill)
LB - 28th ($11.1 mill)
DB - 15th ($32.2 mill)
ST - 11th ($6.2 mill)

EDIT - Italicized correction made from error on original post
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

After the Bengals win the Super Bowl, those WR and QB numbers will go way up.

Even if they don't win the Super Bowl, the WR number will go up once Green is re-signed.

Boyd is due for a new contract too.

They'll extend Hardy Nickerson - 3 years $21 million and those numbers will go way up!  Hilarious

We're only spending 7.7 mil on our DB's??? That's not correct. Not even close. Dre is making close to 11 million himself. Maybe you typo'd, perhaps it's 17.7 million?

Yes, was an error on my part and also didn't include Dennard when I originally posted. XsandOs is correct. I have updated OP accordingly.

Kind of hard to believe that we aren't Top 10 in any 1 position group.
