I struggled between the best or one of the best and here’s why. If my memory serves me correctly, we didn’t seem to do a lot of dealing in the past to move up or down strategically to get who we wanted. I liked that in this draft. Also, as someone mentioned in another thread, we were focused on player intelligence as much as talent. Seemed like more ZT involvement than one might think.
While I believe CBS ranked our draft a B, both USA Today and ESPN grade A-. Regardless if it turns out to be the best or worst, on paper it was definitely solid.
