Playing for the Bengals a literal dream come true for Hawk

His family opened up to me about what it means to play for the Bengals, and to wear the stripes. I've done a few "homecoming" stories in my career, but this one is definitely different. I mean, this dude LOVES the Bengals, always has. He always wanted to play here. It's pretty cool, I think.

Heh. I'm going off this thing that got a lot of attention that said they were about the "ugliest" in the league - Hawk heard the same thing, which is why we brought it up.

AJ Hawk was a great signing.  He came cheap, and will always  be in the right place on the field (unlike every LB not named Vontaze).

Now...  Onto this uniform thing.  The Browns have the worst uniforms ever imagined.  I wouldn't be shocked if they revert back to the old ones after this season.  They literally hurt my eyes, and I've not even seen them in the orange get ups yet.  Our orange jerseys suck too.  Seattle, Green Bay, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Denver, and Cleveland all have uniforms that look like an 8 yr old boy designed them.  I have to agree with Vas...  The Bengals have the best uniform in sports.  The helmet alone gets them that.

I think our white/white is the worst... My favorite jersey combo we have is orange top / black pants with orange socks. I can't remember the last time they had that combo tho.
