Herbert has a good arm, I will say that about him.

Herbert has the physical tools, but I have the same questions with him that I had with Haskins. He's a big guy with impressive physical attributes but his offense consists of a lot of screens and he struggles under pressure. He also has some accuracy inconsistencies. He does push the ball down the field and seems to understand defenses. I am not sure that he is a guy who would be able to step in day one and have success.

Haven't seen him run that much either; I thought he was supposed to be the next Carson Wentz.

Despite living in Oklahoma, I am actually a lifelong Oregon fan. I’ve watched every game of his career and he is definitely CAPABLE of running, but he isn’t anything like Mariota. Wentz is a decent comparison when it comes to athleticism. I’d expect Herbert to run a 4.7-4.6 in the forty.

I hope the Bengals stay in top 3 of draft because other teams are tanking as well i.e; Skins, Dolphins, Broncos, and Jets. Most will need a QB. I now think Bengals must draft a QB with first pick of 2020 and I hope it is Burrow.

I think the media likes Herbert better than actual NFL scouts do. To me he is going to be a mid to late 1st round pick, not the potential top QB pick we have been told.

I went back and started re watching his tape from last year and this guy is a big time project. System provides him with a lot of easy completions that make his stats and perceived accuracy a lot better than it really is. He simply does not work through reads when he has to. Poor eye discipline downfield, let's safeties track his eyes rather than looking them off. Will have to learn to work protections at the next level, a veteran center may have to make the protection calls for him year 1 and maybe 2.

With that all said he has legit arm talent. He makes some wow throws, but I think that is a little bit of the fools gold. He is going to be a project for sure. If he gets to NO, who were there scouting him this weekend, I think he could have a solid career. If he goes to a place where it's just a "guy" who will be tasked with developing I have little faith he turns out to be a long term starter.

To me I have seen enough to know I want Burrow.  I do not want Fromm near the Bengals.  I think Tua would be my second choice.  At least he can run.  Bengals will need 2-3 years to fix the line so maybe running isn't so bad.

Somehow Burrow is still not getting love.  But he will.  I just hope the Bengals do not win 3-4 games and it takes them out of top 1-5.  Another team will trade up before the Bengals.  It seems to happen each year.  Tobin is a person I have zero faith in as a GM at the moment.

He is a one read and run guy. He went back to school to get better at that, but watching the Cal game the eye discipline and the locking on one read thing are still very much alive.

I would rather have Hurts over Herbert.  But I would take Herbert over Fromm and I do not like either one at this point.  I really like Eason's arm. I do not know if he is ready though.

There is a bit of a stigma there because A. his tape last year wasn't great and B. he got beat out by Haskins and had to transfer. Now admittedly both those things are old data sets, but I would imagine as the year goes on he will get more and more talk. I have only watched the Texas tape because I wanted to watch him an Ehlinger and I honestly came away liking both a lot. Joe isn't going to give you a lot moving around and his arm strength falls in the good enough category, but I very easily could see him being the second QB off the board. 

Side note, I am a big Ehlinger fan because he is a more accurate Josh Allen in my view and with this O line I think we will need that. He could be a mid to late 1st option if he comes out this year.

Fromm will be viewed as Andy Dalton. He will be a 10 year starter in the league who will not kill you but won't elevate you. Arm strength is good enough and he is a born leader. There will be teams in the league that love him because you know what he will give you, but we already had that and it's not for us going forward.

I just think Bengals will need to get their franchise QB with number 1 pick of 2020.  I wish they could get Thomas, but I really like Austin Jackson out of USC, as he reminds me of Big Willie.

Fromm is a statue in the pocket and reminds me of Troy Aikman without the arm strength.  It would be a disaster if he were a Bengal.

Jalen Hurts is a testament to how good of a coach Lincoln Riley is over how good he is. Their offense creates a lot of easy reads and one on one situations where their players are simply better than those across the field. I am going to trust his Bama tape over his OU tape because we have seen Riley make guys look better at reading defenses then they are. Hurts was solid at Bama but you saw him get rattled by disguised coverage at times. Hurts is a fine QB, but he isn't a 1st round guy. To me he is a late 2nd or 3rd round prospect who could be Russell Wilson/Dak Prescott or he could be just another mid round QB.
