any more of a snoozer or lack of anticipation. I know its pre season game #4 which always are hard to watch but we have very few roster battles to be won and who wants to watch the 4th stringers who will be working a blue collar job next week?
I hope for an injury free game and onto Seattle.
The biggest thing to watch is who will carry Zac's clipboard and what color sneakers will Andy Dalton have on.

I don't know how much of a difference this 4th preseason game makes. You would think you have a pretty good idea at this point of who you want on the roster. I really wish they would turn this into Regular Season Week 1 and expand the season to 17 games.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

I'm looking forward to seeing how Jake Dolegala looks as QB with extended playing time. Sure, he'll be surrounded by and playing against back-ups but if he really shines and stands out against the lower guys on the depth chart it will be interesting to watch his development over the next few seasons.

If he's good we really don't want a great performance for the risk of him being poached by another team if we try and slide him onto the Practice Squad.
ugh, again another reason why the pre season is stupid, cheer for your team to do bad, how dumb!

I don't think anything he could do tonight would get him a spot on another team's 53 man roster.

I think people forget Dolegala is an undrafted free agent QB in his first year. There are alot of guys like him around the league.

I am usually against any changes to the Preseason but it is true that the 4th one is pretty unnecessary.
Would be okay with this.

Drop the fourth preseason game, move the start of the season up a week, and add a second bye week to the season. Sixteen games is perfect IMO.
Will never happen, but it should.

I'm ok with it. Gives guys a chance to experience 1 last game before hitting the time clock next Monday. Plus, if you turn it into 3 ps gmaes and make it a 17 game season, you just going to have the same problem. Starters will sit in game 3. Which would kinda suck because 2 weeks is really not enough time to determine who you want. Maybe it is, but game-time play vs. practice field play is quite different to some. Sometimes the game action brings out the best in you.

What if he threw a pass from his own end zone that traveled through the air all the way to the other end zone and was caught for the TD?

He would be urinating in a cup, tomorrow.
He will have an NFL suspension as a souvenir.

To me this has been a stinkin lousy pre-season and I am not happy and not seeing what I expected,I am starting to see some things about Zac Taylor that concerns me,one is his mannerisms on the sideline.I see some Dave Shula in this guy and remember we lost both home games and to me was overwhelmed by the oppenents.I see bad O-lines even with the starters and on defense,I see the same stupid problems when lewis was here and that is not being able to defend middle and I see that is going to be a huge problem as teams will just kill us. I hate how this pre-season turned out as it has now given me a negative feeling about this season.I see our team only winning about 5 games and if that happens the players will bale on this coaching staff.I think right up front the defensive coach should be on notice and as well as the O-line coach,Turner. Our o-line is going to have a tuff time of it.There is no way our bengals will win in Hawk land, that will be a blowout and honestly all these teams we face this year is going to be extremely hard to beat. Now our wonderful new head coach does not impress me.I think he is in over his head and I will be the first to say I was wrong, but unless this staff shows me different,I am not happy with what I see.I want wins and to me we were outcoached and outplayed. Our second string and third string could not beat my high school team and we were state champions in 1964 and I was a middle linebacker way back then and our defensive coach was a former D-lineman for the lions and he was the man.Great memories of that year.I was a senior and we had a real tough team.I will be surprised if this season our Bengals win 6 games or less.

And he catches it for that TD?
Dolegala, standing in the back of the end zone sees an opening, looks over to ZT and ZT nods yes, Dolegala nods yes and chucks the ball towards the opposit end zone and takes off running. The crowd is silent as you hear ZT yell "Just like we practiced it! GO, GO, GO...PERFECT!"
Dolegala has now outrun the ball but stumbles and soon gathers his feet back under him. He runs a little harder and looks up and back to track the ball flying through the air and adjusts. Dolegala reaches the end zone, looks at ZT and gives a second nod as the ball arrives for a TD and the crowd goes wild.

I would say whoever is blocking for him should be the starting OL, because they just held up in pass protection for a good 12+ seconds for the WR to cover 99+ yards.
