First Cuts In

Can they cut him or are they stuck with him(injury?).
Redmond is suspended for the first 4 games. No need to make a decision on him yet.

Ringo was released on an injury settlement. With his injured hand preventing him from practicing or playing, he just could not make a meaningful attempt at moving up in a deep position group

On a positive note, should the DTs get injury struck during the season, Ringo would likely be healthy and able to fill in.  Like he did last year.  A shame about his injury, he played well for us last season.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

RB's they'll IR Anderson. Then probably Ellis makes it as the 4th RB.

At WR...Probably Morgan gets cut. Tate/Malone/Core/Willis/Ross/Green/Boyd at WR.

TE is Sample/Uzo/Eifert.

Probably Malik Jefferson gets cut at LB.

They'll keep 4 Tight Ends... my guess is the 4th will be Carter instead of Schreck

So.. does he get paid for 5 days only? Seems like the risk is not worth it?

He gets paid.  He probably made more in those 5 days than he would all month in a regular job.  Maybe he'll get a XFL or CFL job out of his brief appearance in the game

The Jefferson haters can now rejoice.

Fast LB who played slow and never progressed, so no surprise.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Plus, all he had to was ask his boss for a few days off, he knew would be back at the original job shortly.

His football IQ was the issue even before he was drafted. Bad pick for 3rd round but it is spilled milk now. No reason to hang onto these types , if the pick does not turn out just move on.

The Pats cut a 2018 2nd rounder so this is not unusual.

Since Redmond is suspended for the first 4 game, the 2 likely are separate decisions.

It would seem and I'm not sure if I've ever witnessed a worse performance at LBer than him ?
