Alright so it's really never too early to start talking about the draft process. Who are some guys that have caught your eye. I have three so far
1.) Isaiah Simmons LB/S Clemson- Dude is what everyone wanted Taylor Mays be. Can cover, play the Run, and Blitz.
2.) Garrett Marino 3DT UAB- He is an older prospect at 25 but he looks like Geno Atkins out there.
3.) Jalen Hurts- I'm going to get killed for this but dude reminds me of Dak Prescott. If we move on from Dalton might be a nice 2ndrd pick.

Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU caught my eye. He began the year as an average prospect but exploded against Texas. Nine catches, 163 yards and 3 TD's.

If Dalton keeps playing the way he did on Sunday, we'll have to table the QB talk.
Having said that, I've liked what I've seen from Joe Burrow so far.
Everything in this post is my fault.

IDK about that; I like Dalton but is he worth 30 Mil + a year?

I was certain the Bengals would go QB first round in 2020 draft, but now I think they will go OT or Guard. Nevertheless, if Joe Burrow is there in round 2-3, Bengals should grab him.
I do not believe the Bengals can extend contracts for Dalton, Green, and Mixon. Maybe two of the 3 but not all three. All 3 players will have expensive extensions.
So, OT first round but also Burrow would look pretty good as a Bengal.

I would not be that shocked if we drafted a CB in the first next year.

My wish list is any of the following 5:
- Tua Tagovailoa, QB Alabama
- Justin Herbert, QB Oregon
- Andrew Thomas, OT Georgia
- Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama
- Chase Young, Ohio St
Tua or Herbert obviously would be a move toward a future franchise QB.
Thomas would be a fantastic addition to either bookend with Jonah or play next to him.
Jeudy would be an AJ Green WR1 replacement.
Young would be a monster DE to make an elite pass rush and insurance in case Lawson leaves in FA after 2020 and/or Dunlap leaves after 2021.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

I am not sold on Tua or Herbert being can't miss guys.
Jerudy, Thomas, and Young all intrigue me though.
A Thomas in the top 5 and then move back into the first for Fromm would be the Direction the Bengals would go.

Troy Dye LB Oregon, Larrell Murchison 3T NC State, Mctelvin Agim 3T Arkansas, Keith Taylor CB Washington, Calvin Throckmorton T/G Oregon, Tipa Galeai Egde Utah ST, Ashtyn Davis S Cal.

There hasn't been a can't miss QB over the past 10+ years aside from Andrew Luck.
Tua is safer than Herbert but Herbert's on track to addressing (some of) the issues that he had from last year, which is good.
Fromm is a safe pick but he's probably more of an Alex Smith projection.

I get that there are know sure things in the draft and I'm not against drafting a QB. However Dalton isn't our biggest problem either.
To me the best thing that can happen to us is we finish 3-13 have the Second pick in the draft and then we make a similar trade to what the Colts did in the 18 draft.
1st Andrew Thomas
2nd Troy Dye
2B. Trey Adams
That to me fixes our three biggest needs LT, RT, and off LB.

Already forgetting about Jonah Williams? Or putting him at LG?
Also, I haven’t watched any of Dye but I see scouting reports say he lacks instincts and is more of a see-chase LB. if that’s true, that sounds like Malik Jefferson.

Yes putting him at Guard.
Nah he is pretty good bit Small but has the length and coverage ability you want in a LB.
