***Week 2 GameDay Thread - 49ers @ Bengals***

Some of the secondary.

IF we could actually run the ball, Andy wouldn't have to throw this many times.

Yep.

No running game, spotty pass protection, no defense, 5 dropped balls at WR already (2 Willis, 2 Ross, 1 Tate). This is a whole team bed wetting.

We're basically getting beat in all aspects of the game. We look poorly coached and prepared for this game.

He’s looking to string a few bad years together.

Why is that a given? He looked better than Dalton most of the preseason

Not an excuse, but I can't help but believe that 5 different OCs the last 7 years has not helped Andy Dalton or this offense.

Wasted way too much time settling for Zampese and Lazor.

That should have been DPI but the ball wasn't catchable.

I wouldn't say he's having a bad game per se. It's just that with the defense playing so bad Dalton can't afford ANY mistakes and hes had, what, 4 of them so far? And at the worst moments too.

It's Webb. Him and Phillips swapped numbers after preseason.

I can't believe Dalton is at home getting out-played by Janeane Garofalo.

Yep. It's really hard to put it on Dalton.

Mixon is our best player but the line is so bad that they can't run.

The pass rush in Week 1 negated some of the poor LB play.

Pittsburgh had 4 1st half sacks on Wilson so far.

How about that QB..... Maybe he can throw a million times for a bunch of yards and fans can think he's good again this week.

This feels like a Super Bowl ffs.

What should we do instead? Run 25 times for MAYBE 30 yards.

Let's see how we adjust

Nearly 300 yards of offense by SF. This is a Saints-like slaughtering.
