I'm somewhat terrified yet intrigued to think of which of our 9th rate position coaches would take over at DC if we fired Lou now.

Zacs first year so I don’t think so.
This franchise is so messed up that I don’t know if firing anyone would make any difference.
You could make a strong case for everyone in the organization needing to be fired (owner, front office, coaches, players)

Doubt it; Defense might be giving up yards but not points Austin was giving up both. I don't see Turner making it last January though.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Both Callahan's getting the interim gigs? For what it's worth, Papa got a win today.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Starting a season 0-6 is only acceptable if you are the GM and owner of the Bengals, I guess.

When the tweet includes GM Michael Brown, clearly it is someone who has no knowledge of the team at all.

If it said Owner Mike Brown, or even Owner GM and general twat waffle Mike Brown, then you'd have to consider it somewhat believable.

They said in the game today that quote Mike Brown loves ZT, and Taylor feels absolutely no pressure at all from Mike Brown for starting 0-5. So if that was the feeling going into today I don’t think one more loss changes anything with this franchise.

Unless Brown wants Marvin, Gruden or Jackson back I really don’t see anyone wanting this job.

Taylor has exactly 0% chance of being fired but the assistants could get chopped I'm sure. The issue here comes down to coaches contracts being guaranteed unlike players. With how hard it was to fill a lot of the assistant positions, I have to wonder if they were shorter term contracts.

That all aside, you can fire coaches but they are using the players on the field. You can argue "regression" but when you go from horrible to horrible you're zeroing in on the wrong things.

What did we expect from the rest of the coaches when they were hired off the scrap pile from the bargain discount store.

We had slim pickens and thats what we are stuck with this year, I expect Lou gone next year and Zac to relinquish the play calling duties

If not by the end of the season, surely in January. I don't know how you could think either of the coordinators, the defensive coaches, Turner, or Casey is doing any sort of decent job. Also, Taylor needs to hand over playcalling duties to an actual OC.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

The answer is no. A new coach takes time to get his system in place and more than one draft. That, and it's not like we are getting embarrassed every week. Sure, we've had 2 blowout losses, but the rest were very close games. And while the defense appears to be sucking it up, they are keeping us in games when our offense seemingly can't score in the red zone. And MB, while not his father, knows how big it is not to have AJ and also realizes our #1 pick from Taylor's only draft is not playing. No one is getting fired this year.

I'm sure he was, but he most likely knew this season was going to go this way. Tom Landry started 0-10

So it seems like the Rams offense is starting to sputter this year. I read a little bit that the league may be starting to figure out how to stop it.

Their offensive line got really bad from last year to this year, the results this year aren't a coincidence.

Lou should be shown the door.

With everyone being new I don't see how they could fire anyone midseason.

They are all still learning their jobs. I don't think we have a single coach on the entire staff who ever prepared for a season at even a coordinator level. None of them have any significant experience at their positions.
