How is it that a team that was intentionally tanking wins 2 in a row but a team that was trying to win is 0-9 ?

The fact that the Bengals were not ranked dead last in the power rankings for weeks is beyond me.

( Not like I put a lot into what is much of an opinion poll, anyway. )

Because tanking doesn't mean that players don't try to win. It means the organization isn't trying to win at this moment.
