Det OL Graham Glasgow....27 years old, the older brother of Bengals DT Ryan Glasgow. Graham is a versatile OL. He started at LG for 2 seasons and C this season. Definitely, an upgrade over either guard.

Lions do not intend to re-sign him. He should cost 8.5-9 million/year. Playing on same team as his brother could be an incentive

Robby Anderson wouldn't hurt my feelings if AJ Green isn't coming back... Littleton would be a home run, but we know that won't happen.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Jack Conklin RT Titans
I know Fred Johnson really looked promising
In those 2 games. But we need a Bonafide sure RT.
Having Johnson as a swing OT would be a huge plus.

Javon Hargrave DT Steelers.
He's young 27. Signing him weakens the Steelers dine
Strengthens the Bengals. He's really good collapsing the
Pocket. Doesn't get knocked backwards too much

Shaq Barrett. OLB Bucs
NFL sack leader. Inept front could have signed him
In 2019.

Joe Schobert OLB Browns.
Really has nose to come up with the ball.
Better in pass coverage than Vigil by light years

I had no idea that Taysom Hill was 30 til I saw that list. Opie couldn't use that guy right here though.

I'm all for upgrading the defense in Free Agency, and drafting for offensive help.

For me I would like to add in Free Agency:

1) Joe Schoebert--ILB Browns, he stabilizes the middle of the defense and frees up the draft a bit

2) Vonn Bell- SS- Saints, he upgrades the back end of the secondary and allows us to cut bait with Shawn Williams

-then draft offensive skill players. QB, WR, IOL and draft LB and CB on defense

He would give us options on offense.

If I were Lou Anarumo, and had a voice in Free Agency acquisitions for the Bengals defense, I would be making a strong case that they be getting in contact with Danny Trevethon's agent.

Travethon is 29, and just finished the final year of a 4 year/$28M deal with the Bears. Travethon is a complete LB, defends the run or the pass, and can execute a blitz as good as any. More than that, he's got that natural leader's personality, something that this Bengal defense has been lacking in recent years.

He won't be cheap, but I'm guessing something along the lines of 3 years/$30M should get it done. I would put him in at MIKE, move Pratt out to WILL, and let Vigil/draft pick fight it out for SAM. The defense would be vastly improved on multiple levels.

Excuse my candor, but I find that idea laughable.

Why would the Bengals invest the money it would take to bring one of those guys to the team?  Mentoring, you say?  Pfft, Joe Burrow is of a new generation of player, one who has been taught to think well on his feet.  If the Bengals wanted to do anything to specifically enable Joe Burrow to acclimate to the NFL game any faster than it might take, they should strongly consider bringing Joe's QB coach from LSU.

S Karl Joseph could be a guy to look at to compete with Shawn Williams.
