Jon Runyan Sr. looked like he could step out there play... He made his 6'4 313 Son look tiny.

Was gonna say; I know he's 6'7, but he either looked much taller or his son looked much shorter.

He's a stud + awesome story. He will be a three Tech in the NFL  only 6ft 280.

I like the write up on my boy out of App State. Interested to see how he performs? He's been quietly under the radar, but that will probably change this week. Has the potential to be a shut down type of cover LB.

I was looking at the South Roster and I noticed the Bengals definitely picked a type of linebacker for their team.

Akeem Davis-Gaither
Davion Taylor
Cameron Brown
Kyle Dugger

Also Safeties K'von Wallace and Antoine Brooks

I wouldnt be surprised if one or more of these guys will be in stripes.

Couple bfine favs:

Chase Claypool: Dude is huge; as big as Tate and just a kid. Might be able to play spread TE

Collin Johnson: Good size, tiny, baby hands

Logan Stenberg: longer and thinner than I expected. make his field strength more impressive

Herbert; He's just a big dude

Kyle Dugger: Thick Safety with long arms and huge hands

Collin Johnson is interesting. Small hands but never seemed to have an issue with contested catches. If we didn't have Tate I'd be all about him but I actually prefer his teammate Duvernay

Denzel Mims at 6026 206 made money with that weigh in. He is an explosive athlete with excellent size and uses his length to make tough catches away from his body.

Alex Mack 6011 212 is similar to Mims but didnt have the production.

Alex Taylor 6084 308 36 inch arms. Day 3 guy that is a natural athlete he is one of those few tall guys you dont have to worry about leverage because he is a natural knee bender.

Cameron Brown 6'5 233 33 inch arms OLB athlete with great burst and speed also a day 3 guy.

Edit: Anyone else notice the South Roster has most of the SEC players + Clemson lol.

Hating the NFL Network coverage today.

So far things that stood out are Jalen Hurts had really clean footwork during the drills. Stenberg is mean. Peart is a mountain. Damien Lewis has a nice get off at the snap.

Bengals coaching staff is running a clean efficient practice maximizing reps. I like it.

Edit: Van Jefferson looked very good. Alex Mack rans some nice routes. CB Dane Jackson is at 511 180 is being physical with the bigger WRs.

...and NFL Network Coverage ends so they can replay the Chiefs vs Titans...

The Draft Network of course had the best breakdowns of Day 1.

Two of the guys that I liked going for the South squad seem to be showing up. I've mentioned ADG a couple of times, but I also like Bryant the TE out of FAU. He's a mismatch nightmare for defenses. Be a great replacement for Eifert.

The TE out of Dayton, Trautman is also intriguing.

Jordan Love's ball placement is ugly. I'm not the only one that's noticed Matt Patricia and Darrell Bevell have told him the same thing more than once today.

One of the ESPN reporters was on the field trying to get Darrell Bevell to talk to him but Bevell just pretended he didnt exsist lol.

No one has been able to cover Van Jefferson. Akeem Davis-Gaither was everywhere getting his hands into passing lanes and attacking run lanes.
