Any tweets or videos? I just did a google search and didn't see his name mentioned even once.

Jordan Love has been inconsistent in ball placement on horizontal routes just like he was all year. It was mentioned to him 3 separate times on camera.

Justin Herbert has been hands down the best QB at the Senior Bowl but we all saw that coming. Herbert mostly needs to work on the mental part of the game.

He has excellent footwork when kept clean, a solid arm, and shows touch on deep passes (he sailed a few today). His biggest issue is making solid decisions quickly and leading receivers instead of always trying to put it on their body.

Not from what I heard on the radio Monday and Tuesday (didn't catch anything today).  Most of the praise I heard was hoisted on Love, with a lot of comparison to Josh Allen in the process

They’ve been 1a and 1b on best qbs at senior bowl. But love while inconsistent in day 1, was much much better on day 2.

Look what happened the last time we drafted a QB in the second round. Ninja
Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.

lol no he hasn't; JFK's post above is the ONLY place where I've seen him get mentioned with praise.

Your church of the, "Draft Network," hasn't been foisting praise on him.

And from WF:

Quote:Utah State quarterback Jordan Love is the top trigger man on the North team, but he had another uneven practice on Wednesday. Love showed off he has a strong arm and is able to loft in passes downfield with some good placement at times, but he definitely needs refinement for the NFL.

Love had some rough moments in the team scrimmage, including plays where he didn't see the field well. On one play, he stared down a receiver running across the field and threw too high for an incompletion that would have been a dangerous throw for a potential interception in a normal NFL setting. Throughout the team scrimmage, Love was throwing the ball a second late and holding on to it a bit long when he had his receiver already open. His anticipation definitely needs to get faster to deliver the ball more quickly to help his pro offensive line. Holding on to the ball like that will lead to sacks at the next level.

While Love had those issues, he also threw some ropes into tight windows including a slant to Michael Pittman Jr. against Oregon's Troy Dye. He had an accurate pass up high for a completion to Baylor wide receiver Denzel Mimis downfield along the sideline. He had another well-placed pass for a completion to Ohio State wide receiver K.J. Hill.

There is no doubt that Love has a very good skill set with special arm talent, but his field vision is a crushing weakness at this time. He is going to need developmental time in the NFL and should not be forced into the starting lineup immediately.

That screams, "all the talent in the world except between the ears," to death.

I saw or heard a comment about him that he scans the field like he’s a wearing a neck brace, meaning he locks onto his first read then panics when it’s not there.

He must be jpoore’s qb1 in this draft [emoji23]

From the beloved TDN:
Quote:Jordan Love got a ton of buzz for his Day 1 performance. I didn't see the consistent accuracy or field processing that you would expect from a Round 1 player. But that's okay: Day 1 is hard on quarterbacks. They’re playing in a new system with new coaches throwing to new receivers. Oh, and there's a ton of pressure too.

Love settled in during Wednesday’s practice, however. He sailed one or two passes and had some questionable decisions reading the field, but was generally more accurate, brisk and decisive. He looks comfortable in his drops and throwing with rhythm in his feet, and I love his ability to modulate release speed, ball trajectory and velocity in short to intermediate windows. His underthrow to Denzel Mims illustrates, however, the remaining inconsistencies with deep ball placement.

That doesn't sound like "lighting it up," it just sounds like improvement from a bad first day.

Jordan Love is a project. No way around it.
If you have an established QB who is going to no longer be on the team in a few years, Love is a candidate to take on Day 2 that can be groomed over a year or two and hope he puts it together.
But in no way would I want him on the Bengals given the state they are in. They need a QB who is more developed.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Apparently u guys aren’t watching the senior bowl.... he was the highest rated player on day 2 and 3 by a wide margin, he’s been getting praise out the wazoo for it, and also was noted he’s been the only qb throwing it deep. All the other qbs are playing it safe with horizontal passes. He’s been going deep. First quotes then video

Guys, Jordan Love might be that dude. He’s having a nice day here at the Senior Bowl.

Really impressive day for Jordan Love at the Senior Bowl today. Put on a show

Todd McShay just said some teams have Utah State QB Jordan Love ranked above Oregon QB Justin Herbert.

Thought Utah State QB Jordan Love laced just about every throw I saw him make today. Strong & accurate arm. Looks the part.

QB Jordan Love is impressive. Has a nice deep ball and great ball placement. He has been putting the ball only where his receiver can catch it

Jordan Love/#UtahSt has made some incredible throws in one-on-one drills at #SeniorBowl practice. I mean like "holy crap that was good" throws.(Patriots scout quote)

Some of those are the same throws but like I said the kid has great touch on his deep balls. His issue is his horizontal throws. Digs slants out crossers. He always puts them behind or on the body when he needs them out front leading the receiver. He throws a ton of picks on those routes because it takes anticipation.

Jordan Love is the best developmental QB in the draft. He needs to work on throwing a full route tree and reading coverages recognizing where pressure is coming from, he needs to improve his field vison...

Right now you look at his Senior bowl and say damn he has talent then you watch his play and say ewww he needs ALOT of work.

His deep ball accuracy is inconsistent.

His ability to actually read defenses is the biggest question, and he wouldn't be the first QB to fail because he couldn't.

I just don't see it, not now and not in his tape, but if you want to tell me he sits for a year or two in New Orleans maybe I could buy it. The issue is everyone points to Mahomes but fails to acknowledge he got to sit a year with one of the best QB friendly coaches in the league. If Love goes to just some team he won't be heard from again and that is not a top 15 pick in the draft type of player as people are pushing him as.

I think his best fit is with Arians in Tampa Bay but yea he needs to sit and like you said even then might not ever breakout.
