With threads like the one on the made up story that was supposedly on PFT, the market for most outlandish OP of the day award is getting pretty competitive. Trubisky is worse than Dalton, so why?

No

Not no, but what the hell are you smoking, no.
Trade Dalton for the garbage Trubisky and pass on Burrow. You'd literally have 1 or 2 suicides on your conscience... Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

I never liked Trubisky leading up to the draft anyway, so absolutely not. I'd rather have Jameis Winston than Trubisky.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive. Sorry for Party Rocking!

Why would anyone want him? Other than having a decent backup

I don't understand why we couldn't still draft Burrow.
While Trubisky isn't good, he's better than Finley. He could be the back up and provide a salary cap savings of roughly $8.3m. Overall, Burrow at 1, Trubisky as back up, and an extra $8.3m in cap space doesn't sound all that bad. Still no idea why we couldn't draft Burrow if we made this trade though. |
