TD Mock 4.0 2020
#1
Trade Andy to Chicago for pick 50.

Trade Kirkpatrick to Las Vegas for pick 159.

Trade pick 33 to Indy for pick 34 and 160. Indy trades up one spot to secure their QB and the Bengals don't have to move down far at all.

1. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

34. Terrell Lewis, DE, Alabama

104. Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech

Can't wait till 4th round to address the biggest need on this team.. LB.. 2nd round would be best. 3rd at the lastest

Lewis can play some LB, but I like him more as a DE. Brooks isn't really that much lower on the skill side compared to other available LB's in the 2nd or 3rd round. Brooks may even go 2nd-3rd round with such a weak class..... If I mocked Brooks in the 3rd round, would that change your mind? Or do you just not like Brooks?

Murray probably won't make it to round 2. This is honestly not the year to be too picky with LB in the Draft. If you really want an impact LB day 1, start praying the Bengals utilize FA and spend some of that cash they got piled up.

I'm a big fan of Terrell Lewis pick if he slips out of the 1st to #33.

I love this one
The only backer worthy for top 3 rounds pick is Simmons and he will not be there at 33.

Love this Mock Takedown. Starting to think Sunset is right and we add a LB in FA, so with a FA LB and Brooks
while Pratt goes into his own we should be muchly improved at LB. Cushenberry and Throckmorton would be
upgrades immediately at both Guard positions pretty damn sure.

Nice one bud.

If the Colts just saw the Bengals draft Joe Burrow at 1 overall, why would they bother trading up from 34 to 33 to get their QB?
The Bengals definitely would not take a QB at 33 in that scenario, so the Colts would likely get their guy at 34.
The only reason for doing such a trade is if there's chatter of another team trying to trade up with Cincinnati to get ahead of the Colts, but that's not mentioned in this.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: 3-5 so far. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

I didn't elaborate I guess, but that's what I meant by securing their QB. The intent was that there was chatter and the Bengals didn't want to move too far down so they just traded down one spot. Sorry for the confusion.
I actually had more typed out with explanations, but my page got refreshed somehow and I had to start over.

Him and Dunlap with Hubbard as a rotational guy would be hard to game plan against.

I've seen some mocks where he's slipped to 20, but that's a pipe dream in my honest opinion with Simmons. He's a top 10 lock unless he gets into some sort of trouble.

A Free Agent LB is almost a necessity with the lack of certainty with who will be there at 33. I don't really see us moving up in the 1st to grab a guy like Murray. And I'm not buying into Queen's stock right now. I want to see him at the combine before I put him anywhere in my mock. Just my two cents.

Cushenberry and Throckmorton would most likely be upgrades, but I'm holding off on naming them starters (at least Throckmorton) to see how Jordan and possibly Glenn (if he stays on as an IOL) do in camp this year. Cushenberry would steal someone's spot without a doubt.

Love the 1st pick and the late rounders.

I don't like Lewis, Cushenberry and Duggar at those spots. I think we have some bigger needs to address with #34 and there should be a good prospect there.

I don't see Glenn coming back so there is that and both Jordan and Miller were bad to mediocre at best last season.

I think Cushenberry would take one of their spots immediately once Turner sees him play, Throckmorton on down the line could
be good. Just keep him on the inside, even if he is versatile he looked bad at OT at the Senior Bowl.

I like this mock a lot. In the second round I would love for a good LB to fall to us, but otherwise I'd like to see us invest in the offensive or defensive lines. We need to get better up front on both sides of the ball. Everyone seems to think WR, but I really like our skill guys to be honest. Where we have struggled is up front on O and D. Could def. see us investing in our front seven with our 2nd round pick. Def. Need to add a guard/tackle at some point too (3rd or 4th rd.).
