He gets to be known as "the other Cam" or "not that Cam."

We need help at WR.

This draft class is supposed to be loaded at WR, but still sign this guy of he looks good enough to make our roster.  You never can tell with draft picks.  A second round WR could be Chad Johnson or he could be Jerome Simpson.

He's probably not gonna come in demanding big bucks either.

Be smart for your career, Cam. Have Burrow slinging you the ball.

I watched more XFL games than I should admit, but he looked pretty good.

We need wideouts but with so many holes, we may pass on drafting one in the deepest wide receiver draft class in decades. That's unfortunate.

It was football when there was no football.  You were not the only one watching.

Not sure about Cam signing. Couldn't hurt I guess. I still think Bengals will skip WR at #33 and wait until day 3. Very deep WR class.

I watched a lot of this guy and he was the MVP of the first half of the XFL season, he is extremely fast with great hands and
runs polished routes. Cam Phillips had like 8 TD's in like 5 games, I don't even know the exact number but he scored 3 TD's
in one game. Now would be the time to give him a look in the NFL with our questionable WR's as far as injury wise.

It all sounds good; but, what does extremely fast translate to in the NFL against those DB's, not the XFL's? Cool

He's more than just fast.  Maybe he's NFL caliber, maybe not.  But I like the idea of leaving no stone unturned.

Most all of those DB's played in the NFL, they just couldn't cut it and that doesn't mean they are any less fast...

He is NFL caliber easily.

Why does signing an xfl player seem like buying a pair of jeans at Goodwill?

He's a hand catcher.  He sure was open a lot.  If a guy has hands and can get open, I'll live with the fast.  LOL.

Better than a Draft pick. This Cam Phillips was lighting up the XFL, man amongst boys.

Wherever he goes I bet people will be saying how they should of grabbed this guy down the road.

Meh, I don't know. Different caliber of players in NFL.

The thing is only a tiny percentage of college players even make it to the NFL.

Big time percentage of XFL players have already played against NFL players.

Sometimes certain players have to grow into their own if they are just not ready.

I could see Cam Phillips definitely being one more-so than a Draft pick that has never played against NFL caliber...

If the jeans are as good as any of the jeans you own and they cost three bucks, where's the rub?

Plus if the jeans aren't any good you can just throw them away with very little investment into them.
