The D-line is a constant threat on passing downs. I have never seen a better team than this since I started following the Bengals in 2007.

Does this team have a few areas to improve? Sure! Which team doesn't; but for crying out loud lets not bombard this message board with threads that nit-pick small areas of weakness. We wait a decade for a season like this and when it comes around so many people seem hell bent on ignoring the fun. Perhaps I'll put it down to shellshock and disbelief!

Either way, long may it continue. Unbeaten! Who DEY!

They have a different look this year - especially on offense.  And while there areas to improve on defense there's a lot to be satisfied about.  Our pass rush is improved from last year and we set the edge better.  I think MJ is starting to come around from his injury, and we managed to stave off a good offense with an injured secondary.

If we stay healthy I think the backfield gets nothing but better and deeper.  My only concern back there has been Nelson.

These are all going to be NFL games - some against good teams from last year and some against teams that are really good this year.

We're bound to have a let down at some point.  Every team does.  But I think the team has enough confidence to recapture the momentum and make some serious noise in the playoffs.

And if not, I'm really enjoying the things I'm seeing now.

Who says you can't have fun and nit-pick too?  Some people live for that shit.

It's just the way of the world brother.

Got it ?  [Image: thumbsup.gif]

Next time you use your time machine, please let me know.  I love history.  :jk:

People seem to be very apprehensive about the Bengals success so far this season. There hasn't been a ton of cheering, I don't hear "Who Dey?" all day at work, even these boards are much more docile that I had thought that they'd be. People just don't seem that excited about it. I think that might change if the Bengals beat the Seahawks on Sunday though....

If you want the answer, it's this, plain and simple: we're acting like we've been there before.

I'm excited and loving life right now, and I think everyone in Greater Cincinnati is, and we all celebrate and get hyped during games and even when it's brought up in conversation, but these games, while they're good to win, aren't where we want to be.

I'll be wearing my jersey or just a shirt out in public and complete strangers will come by and yell "Who-Dey!" or they'll even stop to talk.

While this team looks like it's not even a question that we'll take the next step and win a playoff game, we've been here before and we're just riding the wave.

I'm pretty sure it will grow larger and larger as the season goes on, but it's still early and we now that there's still a lot of football left to be played.
